Steiven Bernhard Patty M.Si, mengungkapkan bahwa struktur dan skala upah sangat sensitif, terutama dalam pemberian upah bagi pekerja.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Permasalahan yang kita dapat dari hasil evaluasi kami lewat mediasi-mediasi kita lewat permasalahan-permasalahan di banyak industri yang terjadi di Kota Ambon, di mana permasalahan-permasalahan hubungan industri yang ada di kota banyak terjadi akibat pemberian upah yang tidak proporsional,&#8221; ujar Patty saat ditemui beberapa awak media seusai kegiatan.<\/p>\n<p>Patty menambahkan bahwa pemberian upah yang tidak proporsional seringkali disebabkan oleh skala upah yang tidak sesuai dengan jabatan yang dimiliki oleh karyawan. Hal ini dapat menimbulkan kesenjangan antara pekerja dalam satu perusahaan dan berdampak pada produktivitas pekerja serta profit yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Upah yang tidak rasional juga berdampak pada pendapatan perkapita pekerja. Pekerja yang upahnya tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ada, dampaknya terhadap perkapita yang dia nanti terhadap daya beli daripada pekerja itu, karena yang misalnya upahnya rendah sehingga daya belinya kecil, dia berpengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi yang ada di kota ini,&#8221; jelas Patty.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Kota Ambon mengadakan sosialisasi struktur dan skala upah bagi perusahaan. Tujuannya adalah untuk menerapkan upah sesuai dengan ketentuan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan pekerja di Kota Ambon.<\/p>\n<p>Sebanyak 70 perusahaan diundang untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini. Dari jumlah tersebut, 50 peserta hadir pada hari ini. Patty berharap, dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan sosialisasi ini, permasalahan-permasalahan yang menyangkut perusahaan di Kota Ambon dapat teratasi.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Harapan kami, di tahun depan ini penetapan siklus skala upah ini sudah bisa jalan berarti harapan kami permasalahan hubungan industrial di kota semakin minim itu yang kami inginkan,&#8221; tutup Patty.
