Mengusung tema \u201cSemoga Cahaya Kebijaksanaan Buddha Menuntun Kita pada Kehidupan yang Harmonis, Penuh Welas Asih, dan Kebajikan,\u201d umat Buddha bersama warga Tionghoa Maluku menandai pergantian tahun dengan menebar kebajikan nyata.<\/p>\n<p>Ketua Permabudhi Maluku, Aline Pinontoan, menegaskan bahwa Imlek tahun ini menjadi momentum berbagi kebahagiaan dengan sesama. Bantuan sembako disalurkan kepada anak-anak yatim dari Panti Asuhan Pelita Kasih dan Maria Mediatrix sebagai wujud kepedulian sosial. \u201cKami ingin kebahagiaan Imlek dirasakan bersama,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Tak berhenti pada aksi sosial, perhatian terhadap lingkungan juga mendapat porsi penting. Permabudhi Maluku menggelar pelepasan satwa ke laut, penanaman pohon, serta gerakan bersih lingkungan sebagai simbol cinta kasih terhadap alam semesta.<\/p>\n<p>Harapan akan tahun yang lebih baik turut disuarakan umat.
