Sebanyak 759 pegawai secara resmi diangkat sebagai ASN PPPK, melengkapi 1.152 pegawai yang telah diangkat pada tahap pertama sebelumnya.<\/p>\n<p>Wali Kota Ambon, Bodewin Wattimena, menyampaikan hal tersebut dalam keterangan pers usai menghadiri kegiatan di Maluku City Mall, Kamis (16\/10\/2025). Ia menegaskan bahwa proses ini merupakan bentuk kepastian status bagi para tenaga kontrak yang telah mengabdi selama ini.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSetelah menyelesaikan proses administrasi, kita bisa mengangkat 759 pegawai PPPK tahap kedua. Tahap pertama sudah 1.152. Kami berharap seluruh proses ini memberikan kepastian kepada mereka bahwa kini telah sah menjadi bagian dari ASN,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Wattimena menambahkan, saat ini masih terdapat sekitar 250 tenaga kontrak yang belum terangkat, termasuk di antaranya lebih dari 70 orang yang bertugas di sekolah-sekolah swasta. Pemerintah Kota Ambon, kata dia, tengah mengupayakan agar seluruh tenaga kontrak tersebut dapat diangkat sebagai pegawai pemerintah dengan perjanjian kerja paruh waktu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKalau seluruh proses itu selesai, maka tidak ada lagi persoalan terkait tenaga kontrak dan honor. Dengan bertambahnya jumlah ASN di Pemerintah Kota Ambon, diharapkan kinerja pemerintahan akan semakin baik. SDM yang bertambah harus menjadi kekuatan kita untuk terus membangun Kota Ambon ke arah yang lebih baik ke depan,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Wattimena juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada pemerintah pusat atas dukungan yang telah diberikan, khususnya dalam pemenuhan formasi PPPK bagi Kota Ambon. Menurutnya, langkah ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen untuk memperkuat tata kelola pemerintahan dan meningkatkan pelayanan publik secara menyeluruh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKita sangat berterima kasih kepada pemerintah pusat atas dukungan ini. Ini bukan hanya tentang jumlah, tapi juga tentang kualitas pelayanan dan penguatan struktur birokrasi yang semakin solid,\u201d pungkasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan tuntasnya proses pengangkatan PPPK tahap kedua, Pemerintah Kota Ambon kini fokus menyelesaikan pengangkatan tenaga kontrak tersisa, sebagai bagian dari reformasi birokrasi yang inklusif dan berkeadilan.
