Acara ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Pj. Sekretaris Daerah Kota Ambon dan dihadiri oleh berbagai pejabat serta pemangku kepentingan terkait.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam sambutannya, Pj. Sekretaris Daerah Kota Ambon menyampaikan pentingnya forum ini dalam mencari solusi terhadap permasalahan transportasi dan parkir di Kota Ambon yang semakin kompleks. Ia mengawali pidatonya dengan mengajak seluruh peserta untuk bersyukur atas penyertaan Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa, yang memungkinkan terselenggaranya diskusi penting ini.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDengan luas wilayah 377 kilometer persegi dan kepadatan penduduk mencapai 1.532 jiwa per kilometer persegi, Kota Ambon menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan transportasi. Kota ini memiliki sekitar 2.138 kendaraan angkutan kota yang beroperasi setiap hari, sementara panjang jalan yang tersedia hanya 309,01 kilometer. Kondisi ini menjadi faktor utama penyebab kemacetan di tengah kota,\u201d ujar beliau.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, Pj. Sekretaris Daerah juga menyoroti permasalahan lain seperti keterbatasan Terminal Mardika sebagai satu-satunya terminal utama, serta sistem parkir yang belum tertangani secara maksimal. Ia menegaskan bahwa perlu adanya sinergi antara pemerintah, pihak kepolisian, Organisasi Angkutan Darat (Organda), dan seluruh pemangku kepentingan untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan ini juga menjadi ajang untuk berbagi pengalaman dari Yestiatami Tanasale, S.Tr. Tra, salah satu pegawai Dinas Perhubungan Kota Ambon, yang tahun lalu mengikuti pembelajaran di Amerika Serikat. Ia mempelajari berbagai sistem transportasi modern di Hennepin County, Minnesota, di bawah bimbingan Mr. Daniel Soler. Pengalaman tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi dalam merumuskan solusi bagi Kota Ambon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKe depan, kolaborasi yang lebih erat antara pemerintah daerah, kepolisian, Organda, dan seluruh pihak terkait sangat diperlukan untuk mengurai masalah transportasi dan parkir di Kota Ambon. Saya percaya forum ini akan menghasilkan rekomendasi yang bermanfaat bagi perbaikan sistem transportasi umum dan parkir di Kota Ambon,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n<p>Acara ini turut dihadiri oleh Kepala Balai Pengelola Transportasi Darat Kelas II Maluku, Kepala Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Maluku, Direktur Lalu Lintas Polda Maluku, Kasatlantas Polresta Pulau Ambon dan P.P. Lease, Ketua Organda Kota Ambon, serta perwakilan dari Konsulat Jenderal Amerika Serikat di Surabaya.<\/p>\n<p>FGD ini diharapkan dapat menjadi tonggak awal untuk merumuskan kebijakan transportasi yang berkelanjutan serta mengatasi tantangan sistem parkir di Kota Ambon. Acara yang berlangsung pada hari Kamis ini diakhiri dengan ucapan syukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa atas pelaksanaan FGD yang berjalan lancar.
