Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya penataan birokrasi serta reformasi struktural di lingkungan pemerintahan.<\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan tersebut berlangsung selama tiga hari, dari tanggal 2 hingga 4 Juli 2025, di Hotel Manise, Ambon, di bawah pengawasan Panitia Seleksi (Pansel) yang terdiri dari perwakilan pemerintah dan kalangan akademik.<\/p>\n<p>Dari total peserta, lima orang menjalani evaluasi kinerja karena telah menduduki jabatan lebih dari lima tahun. Sementara itu, 23 pejabat lainnya mengikuti uji kompetensi karena masa jabatan mereka masih di bawah dua tahun. Tim Pansel terdiri dari delapan orang, termasuk dua pejabat senior dari Pemkot Ambon serta enam akademisi dan profesional.<\/p>\n<p>Wali Kota Ambon, Bodewin Wattimena, menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal untuk membangun birokrasi yang profesional, bersih, dan fokus pada pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Menurutnya, reformasi birokrasi bukan sekadar formalitas administratif, melainkan langkah nyata dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan akuntabilitas pemerintahan.<\/p>\n<p>Job fit atau uji kesesuaian jabatan ini bertujuan menilai kesiapan dan kemampuan pejabat dalam menghadapi tantangan pekerjaan, mengambil keputusan dalam kondisi kompleks, serta mendukung pencapaian visi-misi dan 17 program prioritas Pemkot Ambon periode 2025\u20132030.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYang kami butuhkan adalah birokrat yang tidak hanya memahami tugas dan fungsi, tetapi juga mampu mencapai target pemerintahan,\u201d ujarnya. Ia menegaskan bahwa proses ini bukan seremonial belaka, melainkan mekanisme penyaringan untuk memilih pejabat yang benar-benar memiliki integritas dan profesionalisme.<\/p>\n<p>Uji kompetensi ini, lanjutnya, akan menjadi landasan untuk proses mutasi dan rotasi jabatan yang dilakukan secara adil dan berkesinambungan. Nantinya, pengisian posisi jabatan akan dilakukan secara terbuka untuk semua tingkatan, mulai dari pimpinan tinggi pratama, administrator, hingga pengawas.<\/p>\n<p>Wattimena juga menekankan pentingnya regenerasi kepemimpinan berbasis kinerja dan kemampuan, bukan karena faktor kedekatan. Ia menegaskan bahwa birokrasi harus bebas dari praktik korupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme (KKN), serta memberikan tempat layak bagi ASN yang berprestasi.<\/p>\n<p>Ia berharap evaluasi ini dapat menjadi pijakan kuat dalam mendorong reformasi birokrasi yang lebih luas di Kota Ambon, serta berdampak langsung terhadap peningkatan kualitas pelayanan publik. \u201cJika seluruh pejabat punya kualitas dan integritas, maka pelayanan publik akan berjalan optimal.
